Lessons Learned, But No New Pictures

Just a few things I’ve learned in the past few days: riding a bike in the rain is not the best plan; riding your bike on a sunny day is marvelous, but you will get bugs up your nose and your butt will hurt the next day; the best way to get to know a town is just to try and get lost in it; in that same vein, I discovered the town botanical garden, the nature preserve (complete with grazing deer), and the Eldena monastery ruins; putting Nutella on strawberries was one of the best ideas I ever had; I can make decisions on my own, even if they’re really hard and I feel lost; I should have brought bug spray; I don't need to have my camera with me for everything, some things can be just for me; this town has a lot of moms with strollers – and they ALWAYS travel in twos; Canada actually has some very interesting history; those I love mean so much more than temporary frustration at some random thing; and finally, the Baltic Coast actually has sun!
